I first worked with Spark when I was in 6th grade, back when it was Children's Media Project. At that time, I was a ESL student and Children's Media Project had started an afterschool program for ESL students. That was really the first time I ever worked with any type of cameras or any related equipment.
I came in contact again with Spark when I worked on a history project called Latino Americans: 500 Years of History, in which Mary Ellen taught me and my other team members how to record and edit. My other team members and I interviewed Latino Americans in our area, asking them about their life and history. Then, we edited the recordings and we posted them online. And then I joined even more programs, such as FRAME and DROP TV, that Spark promotes!
- Member of DropTV 2016. I acted in our film, Freemium,I did sound, and I also edited part of the video and the bloopers.
- Member of F.R.A.M.E. I was one of the camera operators and also edited part of the video.
- Latino Americans: 500 Years of History. I interviewed Latino Americans in both Spanish and English for a history project. I also recorded my interviews and edited them using Garageband.
