about Roberto Morelli
Hi! Thanks for visiting my profile. My name is Roberto Morelli. I live in Wappingers Falls and I attend Roy C. Ketchum High School. I have gotten the Student of the Month Award three times. My favorite subjects are math, history, Italian and science.
I'm was a Youth Producer at DROP TV at Spark Media Project in the summers of 2014 and 2015. In 2015 I was an intern at the FDR Museum in Hyde Park, where I made a documentary about how FDR became a leader to the nation before and during WWII.
I made my first documentary called "The Miracle" at DROP TV in 2014, about the heart transplant I had when I was eight. I chose to make the film about my heart transplant, because I think it was important for people to know about me and my story so then they wouldn't treat people with health disabilities differently.
This summer in 2015, I made a documentary at DROP TV about how the arts affect the lives of youth.
My dream is to become a great filmmaker and go to college so that I can do well making films.
Some other interesting facts about me: I was born in Manhattan, New York. I speak Italian. I play the clarinet. I enjoy playing soccer and enjoy being outside.
